This Tooth is called Pneumatology. That is mostly what’s going on here.
I think when it is said that things are seen as they are this is a peculiar ground of perception which cannot be truly said to be as they are. It is however more like a wellspring perception of things seen in their openness. This openness allows all manner of perceptions of what is and hence a world of strangeness may be disclosed. A tree is not a tree. This is not what it is in its openness. A stone is not a stone. This does not entail panpsychism. It is more open yet than that.
